Thank you very much for your precious prayers for this humble ministry. God has blessed us mightly with faithful supporters and prayer partners like you who have stood strong with us in the midst of a worldwide econimic crisis. It is in times like this that God's people demonstrate their deep devotion toward HIM when they give sacrificially to change the destinies of the unreached masses. On November 7th Ashwini, the eldest girl in Priscilla Girl's Home, got married to Pastor Shashank, one of the newest Pastors in Friendship Centre India. This couple is serving the Lord in Digha Church.
 
PRISCILLA GIRL'S HOME PHASE II
The ripples created by the movie Slumdog Millinaire have exposed the plight of the destitute and helpless children from Mumbai's streets and slums. Our hearts are burdened as every single day we watch the multitude of dispossessed street children live a life below human standards. While most of us are busy with our life and success, we fail to realize the agony and pain these innocent children go though just to get a piece of stale bread. Their suffering is beyond our wildest comprehension. Priscilla Children Home had already rescued over a hundred of them and is providing food, shelter, clothing, medical care, education and spiriutal counseling. We have already interviewed thirty additional children but are currently unable to accept them due to lack of accomodation. At present the 50 girls we rescued from the streets are living in a house which is only 1200 sq.f. They are anxiously awaiting the compleation of this new Priscilla Girl's Home Phase II. Land for Priscilla Girl's Home Phase II has already been purchased (3000 sq.f). The cost for the construction is estimated to be $80,000. This facility can accomodate up to one hundred girls. Please pray for the Lord’s provisions for us to complete the construction of the new facility in Digha before the February deadline; so that fewer children will have to fight for stale bread. STREET CHILDREN IN CRISIS
There are about 18 million Street Children through out India . Please pray with us as we share the Gospel and provide compassionate care to some of these destitute and needy children. We are praying for Two additional missionaries to distribute bread, milk and eggs as well as sharing the gospel with them.
With $15 a month we can provide a meal of bread, milk, and an egg for a destitute child on the streets of Bombay . This will provide us the opportunity to teach them their school lessons as well as to share the gospel .
