Friendship Centre India
Friendship Centre India is an incorporated charitable public trust, engaging in humanitarian and spiritual services amongst the poor and destitute masses, for rebuilding their shattered lives, as per the Great Commission of our LORD in - Matthew 28: 19 & 20
India is a land of extreme contrasts and rapid changes. Over 400,000 children die each year from starvation and malnourishment alone. Another 300,000 children are said to be in bonded labors. There are over 4.5 million lepers, 400,000 prostitutes, 15 million HIV infected people, 2 million new TB cases are detected every year. About 74% of its populations still live in rural poverty, scattered in to 600,000 villages and tribal hamlets. They are dependent on traditional farming and the lean live-stocks for their mere survival. This crippled economy is often shattered by excess rain, extreme drought and sudden disasters.
Our goal is to teach, provide, and feed the less fortunate of India. Through education, they will become self-sustaining and will not only support themselves but their families and communities.
